AGUSA

Africa Girls United Soccer Academy (AGUSA) was established in 2019 as a partnership between soccer players, coaches and families in the Washington, DC area and the Khwisero Sports Academy in Kakamega County, Kenya.

Originally formed in 2001 as a school-based sports program, the Khwisero Sports Academy officially launched in 2016 to meet growing community needs and interest. They currently serve hundreds of regional young athletes including 240 girls from nine local schools, 190 of which are soccer players.

AGUSA’s mission is to support these promising young girls in Africa by providing resources and promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment through sport. Far Post Media assisted AGUSA with branding, messaging, logo design, website development and content creation.
